PD: Man sought in sexual assault of teen in Phoenix

PHOENIX - Authorities are looking for a suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted a Phoenix teen in December.

The man asked the 14-year-old girl for directions near 16th Street and Union Hills Drive around 5 p.m. on Dec. 17, 2013, according to Silent Witness coordinator Sgt. Darren Burch.

The suspect was able to convince the girl to enter his green four-door vehicle and drove her to 19th and Grover avenues where he sexually assaulted her, Burch said. He then dropped the girl off near 9th Street and Union Hills Drive.

The suspect is described as a male, between the age of 25 and 35, medium build, brown hair, trimmed beard and mustache.

He was driving a green, newer model, four-door car, according to Burch.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the man's arrest.
