A motorcyclist is hospitalized after crashing into a car on a Phoenix highway.
Authorities responded to Interstate 17 southbound at 16th Street around 4:30 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports of a crash.
According to a DPS spokesperson, the motorcyclist rear-ended a car and is “unresponsive” at this time.
No other injuries were reported.
Roads in the area were closed for several hours during the investigation.
