Dozens of volunteers give back during holiday season at St. Mary's Food Bank

PHOENIX - Hundreds of people line up every week outside the doors at St. Mary's Food Bank in Phoenix, where volunteers are essential in helping fill these needs.

Those looking for assistance are often looking for food that can provide a proper holiday meal.

Inside, shopping cart after shopping cart are being filled with turkeys, produce, and plenty of goodwill.

At any given time around the holidays, there is anywhere from 30 to 100 volunteers helping families in need at St. Mary's Food Bank.

There is always a growing need for volunteers around the holidays. 

Many people come out to not only feel better about themselves, but to help give back to the community.
