Have you met Miles? This precious 3-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier came into our care at the Arizona Humane Society as an injured stray in need of medical attention from our Second Chance Animal Trauma Hospital™. Fortunately, this sweet guy was able to get the care he needed for some wounds he had somehow acquired along the way, and has since been in the care of an AHS Foster Hero. Fostering is an amazing way to help give second chances to animals who need time away from the shelter to heal from injury or illness, and you’re just an orientation away from being able to help make a huge difference in the lives of several pets. Because he was an injured stray, not much is really known about Miles’ past. But our team is confident that this this dude will make an awesome addition to any home ready to dish out some tender love and care. Despite his larger frame, he seems to think of himself as the perfect lapdog, and we’d love him to find a family that agrees with that assessment.
