120 students without rooms after ASU's dormitory Taylor Place overbooks

PHOENIX - Arizona State University's downtown Phoenix dormitory was overbooked by about 10 percent resulting in around 120 students without rooms according to the Downtown Devil

This is the first time that Taylor Place, a 5-year-old dormitory, will be at maximum capacity, a good sign according to ASU administrators who say it shows growing interest in the Downtown campus.

Plans have been made for the "homeless" students to stay at the Westin Phoenix Downtown Hotel on Van Buren Street and Central Avenue for the beginning of the school year.

Professional staff and possibly student community assistants will accompany the students at the hotel for their two week stay.
