Crews battle 'Fisher' wildfire south of Flagstaff

FLAGSTAFF, AZ - Crews were fighting a wildfire near Flagstaff that wasn't threatening any homes or buildings.

The Fisher Fire about four miles south of Flagstaff was 50 percent contained by Sunday afternoon.

According to the Flagstaff Fire Department, the fire is about 40 to 60 acres in size and is burning in an area used by hikers and mountain bikers.

The human-caused fire that was reported Saturday afternoon is under investigation.

Coconino National Forest spokeswoman Brienne Magee says the 80 people working to put out the fire were making good progress Sunday despite experiencing heavy winds.
