SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Scottsdale Fire Department were dispatched to a hiking trail on Saturday morning after reports of a male suffering from a rattlesnake bite.

"Scottsdale fire paramedic, technical rescue crews have removed a 77-year-old male pt from a hiking trail with a rattlesnake bite. He is in stable condition being transported to the hospital," Scottsdale FD said on Twitter.

He is in stable condition at the hospital and expected to be okay.

No further details about his identity have been shared.
