Two Old Town Scottsdale bars have been evacuated as HAZMAT teams investigate what prompted a carbon dioxide alarm to go off.
Scottsdale Fire Capt. Danny Ables said Scottsdale and Tempe crews are on scene at Marley's and El Hefe doing atmospheric monitoring.
Officials have cleared both bars as they investigate the situation.
The area has been closed to traffic.
