Family believes the woman was lured into a death trap.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ - The trial of a man accused of murdering a Scottsdale woman he met on an online dating site is getting closer to a start date, said the victim's family.
Robert Wiesner, also of Scottsdale, is due in a Yavapai County court next month.
Wiesner is suspected of murdering his ex-girlfriend, Lorraine Long, 62, back in August of 2010.
"After her husband died, she wasn't able to meet anyone," said Long's son, Duane. "So, she went onto dating websites."
Duane said his mother met Wiesner on match.com and shortly thereafter, their relationship went south.
"She took out a restraining order against him," said Long's daughter, Paula Younger.
Investigators said Long was kidnapped and driven to Seligman, Arizona before she was shot.
Wiesner was arrested the next day.
