Hooters bomb investigation: Suspicious device found underneath SUV in Marana, Arizona

MARANA, AZ - An investigation is ongoing after a bomb was found underneath an SUV parked outside a Tucson Hooters restaurant.

At 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, a man discovered a suspicious device under his vehicle and contacted the Marana police, according to KGUN.

Officials say 200 people were evacuated from the Hooters and Bed Rock off of Camino Martin Road. 

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives confirmed the item attached to the SUV was an improvised explosive device.

Evidence collected at the scene is currently being processed, and no arrests have been made.
