Officials are investigating a new freeway shooting in the Phoenix area.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said at 1:15 p.m. a verbal altercation between two drivers happened at State Route 347 and Maricopa Road.
According to DPS, the victim reported hearing something hit the vehicle during the altercation.
A DPS trooper responded to the scene and found a bullet hole in the car.
