Police: Groomsman at Ohio wedding stole gifts from bride and groom

DAYTON, Oh - A groomsman at a Dayton, Ohio, wedding has been accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the newlyweds during their reception.

Dayton police said this past Saturday, Noah Howard, 29, stole 55 wedding cards out of a safe from the reception hall, which included several unopened envelopes full of money.

Police said Howard has known the groom for 12 years. He reportedly asked to change his clothes in the room where the safe was located, and placed the money and gifts into his tuxedo bag.

He was arrested at the reception, but has yet to be charged, police said.
