Something that mothers and daughters do every day became a nightmare for one teenage girl.

Police report that on July 14 around 7:45 p.m. a car was parking outside the Food City store, near 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, in front of the water machine. A 14-year-old girl was in the passenger seat of the running car when 32-year-old Michelle Jumbo jumped into the rear seat behind her.

The girl heard the back door close and thought it was her mother, until she was inappropriately touched by Jumbo. Jumbo reportedly whispered to the girl to "get me out of here," as she grabbed the steering wheel and tried to get into the front seat.

The victim ran out of the car to her mother who told her to report to an officer, who she saw in a different section of the parking lot.

The officer says he was able to drag Jumbo out of the car. Jumbo, who reportedly was slurring her speech and barely able to stand, was given a sobriety test that measured her blood alcohol content at .235.

Police say that on her way to the police command center, she offered sexual favors to both transporting officers in exchange for her release.

Jumbo has been charged with sexual assault, aggravated DUI and bribery, among other charges.
