Employees at a car wash chased reportedly down a man suspected of voyeurism after hearing a co-worker's screams for help.

Police report that on August 11, a female employee of Super Star Car Wash near 19th Avenue and Baseline Road, went into the bathroom around 3:30 p.m. Police say 32-year-old Jose Manuel Ruiz-Garcia followed her into the restroom. As she was changing, she was shocked to see eyes and a face looking up at her.

Police said she quickly put on her clothes and tried to leave the restroom, but Garcia got to the door first and held the door shut.

As she screamed for help, she elbowed Garcia and managed to get past him. As Garcia ran away, other employees chased him into a mobile home down the street. Police arrived and got Garcia out of the home.

Garcia has been charged with voyeurism, unlawful imprisonment, and public sexual indecency.
