A man is accused of driving from New Mexico to Arizona to have sex with a teenage girl he met through Xbox Live.

Gilbert police report that on November 1, they arrested 19-year-old Sammy Lee Garcia on multiple counts of sexual conduct with a minor.

Police say Garcia drove to Gilbert from Roswell, New Mexico with the intention of having sex with the young girl. Garcia and the girl allegedly had sexual encounters on three occasions, some at the girl's home and later at the Best Western Legacy Inn and Suites near Power and Warner roads.

Police say a search warrant served at the hotel provided them with video of the two at the hotel, as well as used condoms and other biological evidence.

The victim reportedly told police that she met Garcia on Xbox Live, and also said he provided her with THC chocolates.

Upon his arrest, Garcia allegedly admitted to his actions.

He's been charged with 11 counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
