GOODYEAR, AZ — Several people who went to West Valley hospitals recently to visit loved ones exited to find their cars had been egged in the parking lot.

Police identified 23-year-old Timothy Tan Guan as the man responsible for egging more than 25 vehicles parked at a hotel and two hospitals in Goodyear.

The incidents reportedly occurred in November at the Cancer Treatment Center for America near Litchfield Road and Van Buren Street, the Holiday Inn near Dysart and McDowell roads, and Abrazo Hospital near Litchfield and McDowell roads.

Police say more than two dozen cars were damaged by Guan, with one damage estimate totaling over $2,800.

Witnesses and surveillance video were used to identify Guan as the suspect.

Court documents showed that Guan was in possession of empty egg cartons upon his arrest.

Guan reportedly told police that he's been "stressed" lately.

He's been charged with criminal damage.
