A man has been arrested after he was allegedly caught stealing high dollar cookware on three occasions from a Scottsdale Macy's.
Scottsdale police report that 38-year-old Dkarmesh Madhu Bhakta took over $4,000 worth of cookware from Macy's in three thefts in three days.
Police say the thefts happened at the Macy's near Scottsdale and Camelback roads on September 15, 17 and 18.
Each time Bhakta reportedly took 'All clad stainless-steel cookware.' Court paperwork shows that the cookware sets are worth a total of $4,400.
Police captured Bhakta on September 18, with the items in his hands, as he was going to his car in the third story parking garage.
Police say Bhakta had a history of convictions for burglary and forgery in California, before moving to Arizona.
He's been charged with shoplifting.
