A Gilbert man has been arrested after he allegedly planned to meet young children for sex.
Gilbert police report that on June 8 they arrested 23-year-old Cody Michael Fay at a hotel in Mesa.
An undercover Gilbert officer contacted Fay who calls himself "Ice cloud" on a social media application.
Fay reportedly told the detective that he was interested in '"family fun," which police say is a slang term for sexual relations with juveniles.
The detective allegedly told Fay that he had two children ages two and three years old.
Fay reportedly sent a photo of himself and other sexually explicit photos of children.
Arrangements were made to meet at a Mesa hotel. Fay was to bring $20 and a bottle of whiskey.
Fay was arrested and has been charged with attempted sexual conduct with a minor, child sex trafficking and sexual exploitation of a minor.
