A former teacher and mentor was arrested after allegedly sending sexually explicit photos to one of his Goodyear high school students.

Phoenix police report that on October 30, 32-year-old Kyle Lontae Denman was arrested at his home in Goodyear, near Estrella Parkway and Van Buren Street.

Police say Denman was the 15-year-old boy's English teacher earlier this year.

After Denman left the school, the victim began interacting with him on Instagram.

At one point, the victim "liked" a picture Denman posted of a person's buttocks. This began several conversations that were sexual in nature.

When Denman requested a picture of the victim, the teen questioned what type of photo Denman wanted, and he reportedly sent emojis of "a peach, cherries and an eggplant." The victim reportedly told police that "in the world of emojis, peaches represent buttocks, cherries represent testicles, and an eggplant represents a penis."

Police say the victim looked up photos online and sent them, while Denman reportedly sent sexually explicit images of himself.

Denman owns and operates "The Denman Group,” describing himself as a motivational speaker, leadership consultant, and mentor to teens.

He has been charged with aggravated luring of a minor.
