A Mesa man offered sandals to an undercover detective in exchange for sex with two underage girls, according to court records.
Police say that on May 3, 28-year-old Joshua Thomas Hollobaugh established an online relationship with a detective posing as a teenage girl.
Hollobaugh created a profile as a woman and sent multiple nude photos of his ex-girlfriend to the "15-year-old."
Hollobaugh allegedly wanted to pick up the girl for sex, offering her sandals to wear during the act, to satisfy his foot fetish.
The "15-year-old" told Hollobaugh she was with a 14-year-old friend, to which police say Hollobaugh replied by asking if he could have sex with her as well.
Hollobaugh told the detective that he had sex with multiple girls under 18 and sent her photos of the girls, some of which he said were as young as 12 years old.
Hollobaugh was arrested on June 2 at his place of employment in Gilbert. He reportedly told police he has fantasies about young girls, but never has acted upon them, according to court documents. Hollobaugh also claimed that he didn't know it was illegal to send nude pictures to minors.
Hollobaugh has been charged with luring a minor for sexual exploitation, sexual exploitation of a minor, and furnishing obscene material to a minor.
