When you deserve a break, where do you go?
Apparently, McDonald's is not the first choice.
According to the the 2016 American Customer Satisfaction Index, Chick-Fil-A has the pleasure of being the top choice for fast food restaurants, Cracker Barrel is first for full service restaurants. McDonald's and Denny's landed at the bottom.
The ACSI's latest restaurant report found Americans are spending more eating out than on groceries for the first time ever.
Chipotle fell from the number two spot to nine on the limited service list, likely a result of the food-borne illness public relations nightmare the chain endured in 2015.
The ACSI Restaurant Report 2016 is based on responses from 4,786 customers, chosen at random and contacted through email between March 5 and March 31, 2016.
