Emma

Emma was born with several severe birth defects, including spina bifida, clubbed foot and a kidney condition, most of which were discovered via ultrasound during the 18th week of pregnancy. She spent the first three months of her life in the NICU at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and has been a regular patient ever since. Emma frequently visits Phoenix Children’s for outpatient appointments, procedures and short stays in the hospital, and feels like her incredible team of doctors, nurses and specialists are part of the family.
