Zumba combines cardio, muscular strength and endurance

Zumba Fitness is a workout that combines Latin-inspired international music with fitness movement.  

Zumba Fitness Instructor, Danielle O'Reilly, says the workout consists of merengue, salsa, cumbia, flamenco, French reggaetton, samba, and a variety of other dance styles from around the world.  

She says it's a unique workout that incorporates the components of fitness (cardiovascular, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and flexibility,) but most importantly - it's FUN!  This workout was created for EVERYONE - all ages and all fitness levels can participate in Zumba Fitness.

She teaches various events around the state of Arizona, but during the week you can find her at Lifetime Fitness in Tempe.

As a full time Elementary Physical Education and Health teacher, Danielle has also paired with Arizona Health and Physical Education Association to start a movement called Let's Move Dance Workshops to incorporate dance and fitness into schools.
