The Windmill Winery is a Wedding and Event venue located on 54 acres in Florence, Arizona. The property currently has two venues: the Big Barn and the Lake House. In addition there is an outdoor ceremony and event space in the Vineyard, as well as a charming Wine Tasting room. The Windmill has the capability to accommodate all size weddings due to the diverse venue and ceremony spaces. It is truly an honor and a privilege to be chosen as someone's venue, The Windmill Winery wants to help create memories for the couple's who have their special day with them to look back on for the rest of their lives. With that being said, there is so much that goes into this very special and important day and it can be very overwhelming for some. This is why The Windmill Winery offers an all-inclusive package, it checks off everything you need for the Big Day aside from the photographer, florist, and officiant. All packages include a Event Manager or Day of Coordinator to oversee the event and keep you as stress free as possible. The Big Barn venue is the perfect mixture of rustic elegance with a grand party atmosphere! This picturesque barn is over 100 years old, it has your Midwest charm which gives it the rustic feel but paired with the personalized details such as flowers and centerpieces it really transforms into a elegant event space! Just beyond the luchious gardens leads to a beautiful doorway made out of old brick that is original to this property. Beyond the doorway which is used as an epic entrance into the ceremony space reveals the arches and all the greenery that surrounds them. This is where the ceremonies take place for barn weddings. However, there is also a gorgeous space called the Twisted Tree which is most often used for photo ops, but if you are wanting a more intimate feel it is an upgraded option for your ceremony. On the northside of the property there is a completely separate venue, a Hampton's style Lake House. This venue was created to give couples the option to have a waterfront wedding, right here in the middle of the desert. The ceremony takes place on the pier, surrounded by the lake with a tree lined backdrop. The Windmill Winery offers many fun add-on options like a beer burro saddled up with buckets of beer for your guests, and a antique car for photos or use as your take away vehicle. Seasonally, they even offer a horse and carriage option for your "Cinderella Moment" as well as to give your guests rides around the property!l Although their venues are mostly utilized for Weddings, they do hold other events on the property as well. Recently they've had several Prom's, Dueling Pianos, Corporate events, and Yoga classes. The newest addition to the property is the Vineyard complete with a massive Tuscan style Fireplace. They will be holding some upcoming specialty dinners in the Vineyard but this too can be utilized for ceremonies and photos. The Windmill Winery strives to have their Couples come back and celebrate their anniversaries or milestones and hopes it becomes a special place for them to visit! The charming Wine Tasting Room is just the place for them to celebrate and reminisce over the memories they shared on the property, plus why not enjoy a glass of wine or cold beer while they're here. The Wine Tasting room hosts fun events throughout the week from Paint-n-pour classes to our live music and made-to-order meals, so even if you aren't looking for a place to get married they would love for you to come out and share first hand in the experience that The Windmill Winery has to offer you!
