17-year-old Priscilla is considered a miracle! She was born with a rare genetic disorder called Costello Syndrome which is caused by a spontaneous gene mutation.

Children born with Costello Syndrome rarely survive, but Priscilla is beating the odds thanks to her care at Phoenix Children's.

At the time of her diagnosis at 22 months old, Priscilla was one of only 250 children in the world with Costello Syndrome.

Priscilla has spent 17 years in and out of Phoenix Children's for countless surgeries and treatments since her diagnosis. Today, Priscilla loves playing sports and going to the movies.
