In 2012, a group of local artists got together and created On The Edge Gallery. While record numbers of galleries were shutting their doors, these artists created a successful business model. The gallery is unique in that it is owned and operated entirely by the artists who are on hand to greet visitors and
demonstrate their talents. With this arrangement, the customer receives direct from the artist pricing, making art affordable and accessible to all.
On The Edge Gallery is now in its 7th year of operation. The gallery represents over 40 Arizona artists and boast exceptional fine art that rivals that of any other galleries in the Greater Phoenix Area. All artists are juried into the galleries to ensure that the artwork is professional, diverse and unique. Fine art ranging from classical to contemporary is on display daily.

1. 40 Arizona Artists - The gallery has the capacity to showcase approximately 40 AZ artists, offering an array of fine and contemporary original art from every creative medium. If the customer is interested in the artwork of a particular artist but needs a different color scheme or size, many of our artists will do commissioned pieces.
2. Buying Direct from Artist - With our business model, all customers are buying direct from the artist, avoiding the standard gallery practice of a 30 to 50% mark-up on sales. The customer is the real winner with this arrangement, saving potentially $100's of dollars on one purchase. The customer also has the option to negotiate the sale directly with the creator of the piece. There is no loss of communication with this arrangement.
3. Juried Collective -This is not a gallery where one can just buy a wall space and display their art. All artists applying to the gallery go through a jurying interview to assure the work fits the gallery's need at the time. Each member has a job to do in helping to run the gallery. We are always accepting new applicants. Our process guarantees quality, creativity and variety.
4. Custom Service - As a customer, you will be working with an artist, who is also a knowledgeable gallery owner. Our artist members own the gallery and are responsible for the daily operations. We try and go the extra mile for our customers. We call an artist directly if you have a question and hand you phone. We have a 24 hour take-home policy so that the customer can make sure the piece they are interested in is just right for their home or office. An artist may even come to your home, bringing a few pieces to try, to ensure a customer gets the perfect work of art.
