Your Paradise is Our Passion! - Sean Andersen got his start in the landscaping business when he was an entrepreneurial 15-year-old, carrying his lawn mower behind him on his bicycle as he rode around Paradise Valley. After earning a degree in Engineering and Construction from Northern Arizona University, Andersen founded Mountainscapers Landscaping, a premier landscape design, construction and installation company serving Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley.

Our Process - Listening to the Customer - It all starts with listening and being inspired by your vision, ideas and budget. We collaborate closely with you to create unique outdoor spaces that are inviting while being distinctively customized for your personal needs. Sean, the owner, personally meets with each customer for a free design consultation. Depending upon the customers budget, he will create a hand drawn sketch, or use professional software to produce a traditional 2D birds eye view or even a 3D rendering. The 3D rendering is a great collaborative tool as it allows the customer to perfectly visualize what the final project will look like. We can produce 3D still shots that look like photos, and we can even create video that allows you to take a walk around your finished yard. It makes it much easier to deliver a project that meets and exceeds the customers' expectations.
Innovative Style - We set ourselves apart from other landscaping companies by our use of original style, bold materials, and the ability to consistently create new innovative ideas. We believe in creating an outdoor space that is not only about function, but about exploration, discovery, and delight. We design all types of landscaping styles from lush and tropical to spaces that feature our gorgeous desert plants and are low maintenance.
Signature Products - Sean is also a creative inventor and holds patents on several of his signature products. Fire and water features are one of our favorite design elements and we love to incorporate them into your outdoor paradise to create drama, tranquility and fun. We also specialize in custom designed shade structures and outdoor kitchens giving our clients the ability to entertain friends and family year-round. Sean's even found a way to make it seem cooler in your space during the summer months by creating and incorporating what he calls "micro-climates".
Our Team - Our team is highly skilled and have years of experience and have been personally trained by Sean, who is involved in every step of the process from start to end.
