Kalynn Frechette started making candles as a hobby in 2015 and then decided to create Moody Aromas LLC in May of 2017. This allowed her to launch an online store as well as vend at local events around the Phoenix valley.
Her goal was to provide a quality, handmade candle that would carry a strong scent for the entire life of the candle at an affordable price. She takes pride in knowing every ingredient that goes into each candle. Her products are handmade in her home in Ahwatukee with the help of her two pups and her husband.
Moody Aroma's candles have no added chemicals, and many are blended with essential oils to provide cleaner scents. The wax is a quality blend that provides a lasting scented candle that burns between 10-90 hours depending on the size.
Currently they offer over 50 different scents in a variety of sizes. Her candles have many unique qualities; wooden wicks, colorful labels, clever names, and customization options. Not only are the wood wicks different from the traditional cotton wicks; they come with the added benefit of being 100% natural with no added chemicals such as zinc, lead or any other metals like some major candle companies. The colorful labels make for great center pieces and fun, vibrant gifts. She can also personalize labels on any of her products making any occasion special and takes requests to create new scents.
