Many places have non-medical personnel providing your medical treatment. We at Injexts feel that this medical procedure should be performed by non-other than a health care provider. That might mean that you would like us to have breakfast or lunch ready for you or that you might like a particular movie rented for you in advance. We do offer over 500 movies and Netflix while sculpting, Alexa if you are a music lover or simply just a warm blanket and pillow if you'd like to get a rest while sculpting.Coolsculpting is an FDA approved procedure that treat problem areas such as the chin, arms, bra fat, back fat, love handles, stomach, inner thigh, outer thigh, knees and underneath the buttocks: the banana roll. The relatively small applicator allows for greater flexibility during the treatment process which means it treats the isolated areas one section at a time. This is a non-invasive treatment that requires no down time. You can even go back to work or scoot off to the gym right after treatment.
On treatment day you should wear comfortable clothing. You may bring anything with you including a laptop or headphones. We will take your picture and weight for your chart and then prep your skin for the procedure. We have the latest Coolsculpting machine so the vacuum suction is light. Once we get you into an optimal, comfortable position, we will then turn the cooling on. The first 3-5 minutes are very cool and feel like a liquid ice pack on your body. You then go numb as if you had an ice pack on you and soon forget that you are even sculpting! After 35-45 or 75 minutes, depending on the applicator used, the treatment is stopped. Your skin will be red in color and may be tender to touch. When the applicator is removed, your provider will then either manually massage the treatment area or use the Zimmer Z wave to break up the crystalized fat cells. This massage may be uncomfortable for a few minutes, but most people report minimal discomfort during this time. When you have completed the treatment, we send you home to continue to do manual massages every day for 2 minutes for the next 7 days. We encourage follow up appointments at 1, 2 and 3 months after treatment for your before and after treatment pictures. Results take 3-4 months with the first sign usually around 1 month.
