Cauliflower Steak Recipe

Ingredients:

Cauliflower Steak 1 inch thick 1 Each
Blended Oil 1 oz
Manchego Cheese Shaved 4 oz
Chimichurri 3 oz
Sweety Drop Peppers (Yellow
and Red) 2 oz
Micro Greens 2 oz
Yellow Roasted Tomatoes 2 oz

Instructions:

 
1.     Cut Cauliflower side to side, not top to bottom. Should only get 1 per head. Save extra cauliflower for Hummus plate.
2.    Lather cauliflower in oil and season with salt and pepper.
3.     In a hot, cast iron skillet, place the cauliflower steak down and sear to a nice brown color.
4.    Flip and repeat until both side of the cauliflower have a nice golden brown, not burnt, color.
5.    Place in a 425 degree oven for about 6-7 minutes or until fork tender.
6.    Once you take out the cauliflower from the oven, immediately arrange the cheese over top of the cauliflower, and allow melting slightly.
7.    Pour Chimichurri sauce around the cauliflower steak and then drizzle across to finish.
8.    Arrange Yellow Roasted Tomatoes over the top of the steak.
9.     Garnish the top of the cauliflower steak with micro greens and serve.
