Arizona Lottery: Willie's Virtual Holiday Party Giveaway
The Arizona Lottery is spreading holiday cheer again this year by hosting the second annual Willie's Virtual Holiday Party Giveaway! This epic 4-hour livestream will feature impressive giveaways, exciting holiday games, charitable giving and more.
Set to the theme of a late-night variety show, the livestream will benefit foster children across the state. For every unique livestream view, the Arizona Lottery will donate $1 to the Arizona Association of Foster and Adoptive Parents (AZAFAP), up to $20,000! Viewers can play games and win prizes all while a making difference in our community.
The Arizona Lottery's support for children in foster care goes well beyond the livestream, though. Through our beneficiary relationship with the Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA, Arizona Lottery funds help ensure that as many children as possible have a strong and effective voice in our state's court system.
The money raised through Willie's Virtual Holiday Party Giveaway will help fund AZAFAP's holiday toy drive and their Recycle Your Bicycle program. AZAFAP provides items to foster and adoptive families that are not covered by state funds, so every donation to this organization makes a big difference. Dollars donated through this livestream will help create a magical holiday season for Arizona children in foster care.
Arizona Lottery's energetic and beloved mascot, Windfall Willie, will host along with his trusty sidekick, Derek. This hilarious duo will offer a variety of entertaining games and interviews featuring special local guests, making this our most entertaining livestream ever. Tune in to see appearances like:
· Musical acts from Alice Cooper's Solid Rock Teen Center and local bands, like Jim Bachman and the Daydrinkers and El West
· Arizona chef Matt Carter from The Mission
· Former Arizona Diamondback Willie Bloomquist
· Comedy stylings from local funny favorites, Pizza Party
· Craft brewing insights from Four Peaks and tequila tasting tips from Sarah Foote of Corrido Tequila
· Local TV, newspaper and radio personalities competing against each other in a variety of fun and entertaining "Holiday Warrior" themed games
