Looking for something to do with the whole family this weekend? Come to Barnyard Booster Bash this Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kiwanis Park in Tempe.

The free event will include professional booster and car seat installation inspections by certified technicians, a live DJ, arts and crafts, face painting a barnyard-themed photo booth and free booster seats while supplies last (kids must be at least five years old, at least 40lbs and present at the event).

Three out of four car seats are misused, which may reduce their effectiveness in an accident, according to Safe Kids Worldwide.

That's why Allstate Insurance Company and Phoenix Childrens Hospital teamed up to help raise awareness about the importance of ensuring your child's safety seat is correctly installed and used.

Throughout the month of October, Allstate agency owners are collecting new, unopened booster seats for families in the community. By end of day Oct. 31, donate to one of the following participating Allstate agencies:

· Misty Everette - 8399 E Indian, School Rd, Ste 103 Scottsdale, AZ 85251
·Kyle Couch - 7233 E Baseline Rd, Ste 110 Mesa, AZ 85209
· Becky Halstead - 4 S San Francisco St, Ste 6 Flagstaff, AZ 86001
· Mike Denney - 4902 S Val Vista Dr, #B110 Gilbert, AZ 85298

· Jami Sanders - 1107 S Gilbert Rd, Ste 214 Mesa, AZ 85204
· Harny Rios - 10757 Grande Ave Sun City, AZ 85351

In honor of the Allstate agency owners' volunteer efforts, the Phoenix Children's Hospital Center for Family Health and Safety will receive a $20,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands grant. This grant will help them continue to educate parents and caregivers about the importance and correct use of car seats, booster seats and restraints.
