U.S. Navy war veteran Adam Desnous enlisted in the military following 9/11, serving on a nuclear aircraft carrier during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Adam worked on the flight deck of the ship and fueled the jets prior to them going to bomb targets in Iraq and Afghanistan.
After two deployments he used the Yellow Ribbon G.I. Bill to attend Arizona State University, graduating with multiple degrees in child welfare.
Today, Adam works as a speech therapist to disabled children...And is on a mission to help children in foster care.
