Saba's Mediterranean Kitchen has been serving the valley with amazing culinary delights since 1995. Over the years the restaurant has evolved in so many ways, but it has never lost what makes it truly successful. George Sr. and Joan taught their kids, Elizabeth and George Jr. several principles of business and life to place above all others. The first one is to always be thankful for what God provides you with. By remembering that, George Jr. and Elizabeth have kept a humble and thankful feeling at the restaurant no matter what circumstances they face. Next they were taught that being a leader was more effective than being "The Boss". They continuously work side by side with their staff as equals and also treat them as such. The next principal is to never serve your guests anything that you would not pay for yourself. This has allowed them to keep the quality and consistency of the food top notch. The last principal was to treat all the employees and guests with respect, equality and appreciation. This has allowed them to build a community of longtime regular patrons, a strong reliable staff and a positive environment for all enter the restaurant. They understand that the guests are the most important human element in the business and are always treated like family.

George Sr. and Joan, retired several years back and have left the reigns of the business to their children. Elizabeth handles many of the front of house operations and has a great eye for design. She implements personal touches around the restaurant, including family photos and pictures of their trips to Israel and Greece. Elizabeth uses her degree and experience to help manage the restaurant efficiently. She uses her skills in customer service, marketing, merchandising and retail to help fine tune ideas and concepts. Elizabeth is a proud mother of two, Kendall and Kaiden. Aside from raising her kids she continues to help grow and develop the restaurant in any way she can.

George Jr. a 25+ year veteran in the culinary scene. He has learned the ways of Mediterranean cuisine through ancient recipes and technique passed on from his father, mother and grandmother. He now has branched out into his own style with new flavor combinations and fresh ideas that sets Saba's apart from the everyone else. George was born and raised just outside of Detroit, MI. George continuously challenges himself to excel in all areas, he has independently studied the culinary arts, marketing, computer science, psychology, business and communications. He uses these talents to continue to push Saba's to the future. Some of his biggest supporters are his wife (Alicia) & their three kiddos, George III, Natalia & Jeremiah.

If you live in the valley or are visiting and are a fan of mediterranean food, or would just like to try something different, Saba's Mediterranean Kitchen is a must try restaurant for even the pickiest of eaters.
