Festival of Tales: Festival of Tales is a free, literacy-focused celebration offered to the greater community. The festival is a day of reading, literacy and cultural activities for children and families that includes storytelling, arts and crafts, games, face painting, live music, food trucks and much more! The festival brings books to life through the art of storytelling and provides FREE books to children who participate in the activities. There will also be live musical performances. 9am-2pm. Health & Safety Safari: Kids and parents are invited to the campus of Tempe St. Luke's Hospital to explore the world of health care with fun and educational hands-on activities with hospital staff and local community partners. This free event will feature fun health & wellness games for kids. Other activities include: he Tempe Police COOL Camaro and Tahoe, Tempe Fire Department fire safety information, Tempe Coalition drug prevention programs, and Phoenix Suns Personalities. 10am-1pm.
