Earth Day 2018: Let's "Party for the Planet" with Earth-friendly games and activities designed to inspire and motivate others to care for the natural world. All activities are included with general Zoo admission, such as: Z's Recycle Fashion Show, Hug-A-Tree Station, Honey Bee teacher workshops, T-Shirt Bag-Making Station featuring "Bag Monster", Touch and feel booth with worms, Create your own potted plant, Dance with DJ Rob, Pet a dinosaur with DinoCrew Entertainment, Earth Day complimentary face painting & Animal encounters every hour! 8am-5pm. Phoenix Zoo, 455 N. Galvin Pkwy., Phoenix. 

Saturday, April 14
Movies in the Desert: Guests are invited to view Zootopia, beginning under the stars at 6:30pm with a ninety-minute pre-movie entertainment show beginning at 5pm, consisting of music, games, and tons of prizes. Pre-Movie activities will include a Character Meet and Greet, Learn to Judy station, Zootopia Badge Making Station, a Prize Wheel and Giveaways. Johnny Rockets OdySea will also be giving away grand prizes of one $100 and two $50 gift certificates! The event is FREE to the public.  Food/drinks are offered for an additional price. 5-9pm. Odysea in the Desert, 9500 E. Via de Ventura, Scottsdale.

Sandcastles on 7th: Come and enjoy FREE outside sand fun all day!  Food Trucks! Live Music and Entertainment!  PLUS…the "Sand Guys" from Travel Channel's "Sand Masters" Show create a one-of-a-kind signature sand sculpture AND share some sand-sculpting basics with you!  Then join the fun as some of the best and brightest of our valley's business community compete in a sand-sational sandcastle building competition….and you get to vote for your favorite! After having fun outside, come inside and play in the Museum! Discounted Museum admission of $9 per person ALL DAY! 9am -4pm. Children's Museum of Phoenix, 215 N. 7th St., Phoenix.
