Ocean Poke Co. opens in Phoenix on March 27, celebrates with week-long promotions

Is poke (pronounced poke-y) taking over the Valley?

It is safe to say that the Hawaiian dish is a rising star with another concept opening in Phoenix.

Ocean Poke Co. will open its doors on Monday, March 27 near 36th Street and Indian School Road.

The eatery will feature seven signature Poke bowls and will also let guests create their own bowls choosing between different types of fish, bases, sauces and toppings, according to a news release.

Ocean Poke's bases include quinoa, tofu rice noodles, mixed greens, brown rice and white rice. Bowls vary between $10 and $12.

To celebrate, the eatery is offering various promotions throughout the week:

  • March 27& 28: 50 percent off bowls
  • March 29 & 30: Buy one bowl, get one free
  • March 31: Portion of proceeds to benefit Phoenix Children's Hospital (no discount)
  • April 1: Free Cali Bowl (white rice, imitation crab, cucumber, avocado, green onion, pickled ginger, wasabi, sesame seeds and spicy mayo) or $8 any other bowl from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
