In less than six months, the Lost Lake Festival will be back in Phoenix for its sophomore year.

The three-day festival runs Oct. 19-21, 2018 at Steele Indian School Park.

If you're planning to go, or haven't been before, here is everything you need to know (so far) about the lineup, tickets, and what to see, eat and do while you're there.

THE LINEUP

More than 40 bands will perform at the Lost Lake Festival.

Imagine Dragons, Future, The Chainsmokers, SZA, Janelle Monáe, Nas, Jimmy Eat World and Third Eye Blind are some of the artists scheduled to perform in the Valley of the Sun, organizers announced this week.

Last year, the festival was headlined by Chance the Rapper, The Killers, The Roots and Pixies.

WHEN AND WHERE TO BUY TICKETS

Three-day passes, both general admission and VIP, go on sale Friday, April 26 at www.LostLakeFestival.com. Tickets are sold on a tiered system meaning when one tier sells out, the price goes up.

General admission:

  • Tier 1: 189.50, plus fees
  • Tier 2: 209.50, plus fees
  • Tier 3: 229.50, plus fees
  • Tier 4: 249.50, plus fees

VIP:

  • Tier 2: 549.50, plus fees
  • Tier 3: 599.50, plus fees

The festival said it will have a payment plan. Single-day tickets were not yet available.

According to the website, students can receive a 10-percent discount on three-day general admission tickets. A student ID will be required to pick tickets up at the box office.

WHAT TO SEE, EAT AND DO

Aside from the music, Lost Lake is also about celebrating Phoenix's food scene; the restaurants, chefs and mixologists; and its arts scene. Here's a look at what's coming back this year:

Phoenix Flavors

More than a dozen local restaurants and bars will be part of the festival's culinary experience, referred to as Phoenix Flavors. Phoenix chef and restaurateur Chris Bianco (Pizzeria Bianco) will reprise his role as the festival's culinary ambassador.

Brewpark

Like its name suggested, the Brewpark is about beer. More than a dozen breweries, including local craft breweries, will be at the festival. There will also be "fantastical spins on classic backyard games" in this area. Last year's festival had oversized croquet, Jenga and lighted ping-pong.

Nectar of the Gods

Nectar of the Gods will have tequila flights and tastings, including anejo, reposado, blanco and mezcal. There will also be Southwestern cocktails served here.

Art of the Valley, The Lookout and Found: The Lost Lake Marketplace

Local artists, live murals and performance art, and installations will be at "Art of the Valley" and "The Lookout," a news release said.

Artists, artisans and crafters will be able to set up shop and sell their products at the marketplace. Nonprofit organizations will be at the FOUNDation to talk to concert-goers about their causes.
