If you're looking to book a last minute day trip to the national parks, entrance fees will be waived on Saturday, April 21.
Saturday marks the start of National Park Week and is one of four fee-free daysthe National Park Service is offering this year. (The others are Sept. 22, National Public Lands Day, and Veterans Day, Nov. 11.)
Arizona has three national parks: most notably, Grand Canyon National Park; Petrified Forest National Park and Saguaro National Park.

Only the entrance fee is waived. Camping or lodging fees, special tour fees, transportation fees and boat launch fees still apply.

Beginning June 1, entrance fees at the Grand Canyon, and other national parks around the country will increase by $5. At the Grand Canyon, a 7-day vehicle pass will increase from $30 to $35.
