While it's not always the cheapest activity, AMC Theatres announced a deal that will keep a few extra dollars in your pocket.

The national theater chain is bringing it's $5 Tuesday promotion back for good at its AMC, AMC Classic and AMC Dine-In theaters.
On Tuesdays, all movies will be $5 per person. The concession stand will also have a $5 combo that includes a small soda and small popcorn. IMAX, Dolby Cinema and 3-D movies will cost extra.
You have to join their free rewards program, AMC Stubs, to reserve seats online or in the app, and take advantage of the Tuesday promotion. You can register, here.
AMC has at least11 theaters throughout the Valley.
