Goodyear PD seek voyeurism, burglary suspect

GOODYEAR - The Goodyear Police department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect that is wanted for kidnapping, voyeurism, burglary and indecent exposure.

On July 11, the suspect forced entry into a home, near Sarival Avenue and Harrison Street, in Goodyear, according to Goodyear police.

The suspect found the 29-year-old victim in the shower and then began pleasuring himself, according to the police report, eventually backing the victim into a corner. The suspect then fled through the patio door.

Police said the suspect took the screen out of a window to break into the home. The suspect did leave "physical evidence" behind.

Authorities believe this is an isolated incident, but would like to remind residents to lock windows and doors.

"My daughter leaves early in the morning. Now I'm going to make sure I'm up to watch her leave. If they can break into a house, how about when they're outside," said neighbor Rita Larios.

The suspect is in his early to mid-20s with a muscular build. He is 6 foot tall with brown eyes and short curly black hair, according to the report.

Police said the suspect was wearing a black tank top and black basketball shorts.

If anybody has any information on the incident or suspect, contact Detective J. Streeter at 623-882-7467.
