PHOENIX - The Valley saw another night of rain, wind and lightning Saturday.
The storm moved in from the northeast over the McDowell Mountains and combined with a storm from the southeast that brought dust and rain into Apache Junction beginning at 6 p.m.
Sky Harbor only got 0.02 inches of rainfall, but some parts of the East Valley received over a half inch of rain in 30 minutes.
Roads became slick and there were reports of accidents on the Loop 202 in Chandler and the US 60 in Gilbert and Mesa.
The storm hung around until about 10:30 p.m. before moving on toward Gila Bend.
One of the positive aspects is that the storm dropped temperatures into the uppers 70s where rain fell.
