The Monsoon officially begins today, which can mean very dangerous driving conditions.

ADOT is reminding drivers to "Pull Aside, Stay Alive," when a dust storm hits, and follow these safety tips:

  • Pull completely off the road
  • Turn off your lights
  • Set emergency brake
  • Keep your seatbelt on
  • Wait it out

Dust storms can create almost zero visibility on the roads, and driving through can be dangerous and even deadly. Remember: "Pull Aside, Stay Alive."
