Not exactly the kind of hit you want to see your quarterback take, especially during a meaningless preseason game.

In the first half of the Arizona Cardinals' preseason loss to the Houston Texans, starting quarterback Carson Palmer threw an interception that was returned for the touchdown.

It's preseason play, and the six points yielded by Palmer don't matter. But what could matter is the hit he took during that play, courtesy of Texans defensive lineman Devon Still.

Still was not flagged during the play, but the helmet-to-helmet hit could result in a fine. And fortunately, Palmer seems to be OK. "No big deal," he said after the game.

But Still said his hit on Palmer wasn't dirty.

"I turned around and I saw him dive for John (Simon) and I took him out," he told the Houston Chronicle after the game. "It was simple. I see a lot of people saying it was a cheap shot, but what if he made the tackle?"
