He says he's always been able to eat. And he likes to compete. So, why not combine the two?
So far, it's been a winning combination for Jeff "Beast Man" Butler. A Valley guy who has spent the past year eating his way up the food chain is advancing from local contests to the big time in the Big Apple.
After winning a regional event in Las Vegas, Butler signed a professional contract with Major League Eating, a circuit that stages Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest on ESPN.
Guess what? "Beast Man" Butler will make his debut at Coney Island as he takes on the likes of world record holder Joey Chestnut, who once downed 68 hot dogs in ten minutes.
But first, we opened up the ABC15 studios for a sort of training session. How many apple pie slices can a professional eater consume in two minutes?
