Paul Calvisi goes one-on-one with Mark Grace about DUI arrest

Mark Grace was back in the D-backs lineup Monday. Not for a game. Gracie was in uniform for the D-backs annual Fantasy Camp. And he was wearing Sedona Red as a former player, not as a current employee.

"It's been awhile since I did anything with the Diamondbacks," Grace said.

Following last season, Grace was fired as a team broadcaster following his second DUI in just over a year.

Grace has a court date scheduled for January 31st where the 2001 World Series hero faces four counts of aggravated DUI.

"This is a time consuming situation and it's also a life-changing situation," Grace said when I asked him what he hopes in his immediate future. "Right now, those are all big questions marks."

Then, I asked Gracie whether he felt like the D-backs organization did enough to stand behind him?

"They had no choice," Grace answered immediately. "One thing I try to teach my children and I expect from myself and I expected from my teammates is accountability. The Diamondbacks didn't do anything wrong, I did…it's all on me, nobody else."
