Cleveland Cavaliers star point guard Kyrie Irving wants to be traded -- and according to multiple reports, the Phoenix Suns could be best positioned to acquire him.
On Monday, ESPN NBA insiders reported the Suns could persuade the Cavs to deal Irving to Phoenix in exchange for point guard Eric Bledsoe and rookie small forward Josh Jackson -- a move the Suns are reportedly unlikely to make.
Naturally, Bovada has placed odds on the most likely team Irving will play for next season. As of Tuesday evening, the Suns have 9/2 odds to land Irving, which is well behind the Cavs, who are even money (1/1), and also behind the New York Knicks, who are at 4/1.
The Suns, however, are well ahead of the next several teams on Bovada's list, including the Boston Celtics (13/2), Denver Nuggets (9/1), San Antonio Spurs (9/1) Minnesota Timberwolves (12/1), Miami Heat (20/1), Milwaukee Bucks (25/1) and Atlanta Hawks (33/1).
Irving has reportedly listed the Spurs, Knicks, Heat and Timberwolves as his preferred trade destinations.
