The Big Red went pink in week six of high school football.
Actually, the Cardinals turned Perry High School pink in a special pregame presentation to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Cardinals even brought out their safety, Tyrann Mathieu, to help recognize ten breast cancer survivors during the ceremony. All of them were presented with honorary pink jerseys.
"Come out, share with others what I've experienced in my personal life just to get everyone aware of breast cancer. I think it's a great movement and it's a positive cause that brings everybody together," said Mathieu.
The Cardinals rookie is referring to his own loss. Two of his aunts passed away from breast cancer.
"It's extremely important to me It was a really rough time for me and my family. So hopefully others won't have to go through what I went through."
The Honey Bader also delivered a pre-game pep talk to Perry.
