Week seven puts the 7th ranked Basha Bears against the 3rd ranked Hamilton Huskies.
With the addition of running back/defensive back J.T. Gray (a transfer from Coolidge), the Bears are considered one of the "under dogs" that could knock off Hamilton.
If Rajhan Meriwether is able to return, Basha will have one of the state's top dynamic duos of running backs. The Bears are lead by quarterback Zach Werlinger who will put points on the board. In week six, the Bears crushed Perry, 49-0. The Bears are 4-2 heading into this game.
On the other side of the ball, the defending state champion Hamilton Huskies are also 4-2 after falling to Mountain Pointe (37-27) in a game that put the top two teams against each other in week five and then to Chandler (26-16) in week six .
Hamilton has never lost three games in a season since they began playing football back in the 1990's, so expect the Huskies to have everything in check and expect to see mistake free football.
