Diana Taurasi becomes the WNBA's 2nd all-time leading scorer

The Phoenix Mercury cruised to an 87-69 win over the Chicago Sky, but it was a three-point shot with 6:46 to play in the third quarter that moved Diana Taurasi into the 2nd spot for all-time leading scorers in WNBA history.

Taurasi surpassed Katie Smith (6,452 points) and finished the night with 15 points. She now has 6,457 points, reached in her 316th game – 166 fewer than Smith played. Tina Thompson still tops the chart with 7,488 points.
